We are currently recruiting for a qualified physiotherapist to join our first team performance and medical department. You will be responsible for the delivery, management, and development of evidence-based physiotherapy services, ensuring players receive high-class assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation support. You will reply to the head of physical performance and work closely with him as well as the rest of the department and the technical staff, maximizing player availability, enhancing development and performance, reducing injury risk, and to ensure optimal return to play strategies and deliver to minimize time away from training and playing.

Salary: Competitive – dependant on experience
Hours: Full time – including weekends, evenings and matchdays 
 

MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION 

• BSc in physiotherapy
• First aid certification 
• Fluent in English 
• High level of communication skills 

• MSc in a related discipline (Sports physiotherapy, manual therapy, rehabilitation science etc.). 
• 2+ years experience from elite football
• Experience with injury prevention training, at both individual and group levels.
• Excellent IT skills and experience in use of all Microsoft Office products. 
• Understanding and speaking Scandinavian language 
• Committed and driven by deadlines and results. 
• Ability to turn ideas into deliverables with minimal supervision. 
• Experience from the use of testing equipment and the analyses and use of testing data 

• Must be committed, enthusiastic and passionate about Sandefjord Fotball 
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as using one’s own initiative. 
• Able to communicate effectively with players and fellow staff members at all levels. 
• Able to adapt to the demands of the job and needs of the players / coaches. 
• Willing to follow and promote the philosophy of the football club. 
• Be an ambassador for Sandefjord Fotball, presenting the club in a positive image at all times.
